On this morning of August 27, Shanghai Municipal Health Commission reported that one local COVID-19 case was confirmed in Shanghai from 0: 00 to 24: 00 on August 26. According to the epidemiological investigation, the case had lived in or traveled to the following district and places:

 

Pudong New Area: Jinjiang Inn's Donghai Town Branch at No. 798 Yanchao Highway, Zhu’anyuan Residential Complex at Lane 301 Zhupan Road of Zhuqiao Town, and Super 8 Hotel at No.1312 Chuannanfeng Highway.

Note: All identified close contacts have been quarantined for medical observation, and all places and sites related to the confirmed case have been made known to local authorities for putting disinfection measures in place.
